Why we started
Finding the right rural property takes a different kind of search. Acreage, grazing, outbuildings, access and the surrounding area can matter just as much as the number of bedrooms.
After years of searching for rural and equestrian homes, moving between the UK and France, and living with horses and land, our founder Louise Hutchings saw the need for a platform that gave these details the attention they deserve.
That experience shaped Rural Property Network: a place where buyers can discover properties suited to their plans, and agents and Sellers can reach an audience already interested in rural life.

The person behind Rural Property Network
My life has taken me between England, Jersey, Wales and France, with more than 27 moves along the way. I am an expert at packing by now, although I still manage to lose the kettle every time.
Many of those moves have involved horses, dogs and the search for a home with enough land to make rural life work. I know firsthand that the questions go well beyond the photographs. Is the grazing suitable? What are the outbuildings really like? Will the location work for everyday life?
That experience is why I created Rural Property Network. I wanted to give countryside property a dedicated place where the land, facilities and lifestyle matter just as much as the house.
I am very hands-on in running Rural Property Network and look forward to speaking with you personally, whether you are searching for a property or looking to advertise one.
